Proudly we produced Al-Madina Al-Munawwara Award, an annual award granted to distinguished persons in different fields of studies. The award is a custom made model of Al-Madina Mosque. Die Cast from brass, it is composed of 75 pieces assembled together to make a fantastic trophy, featuring a 24K gold plated dome and accessories in addition to silver plated parts. The award is mounted on a marble plate and personalized with a gold plated plate. It is presented in a luxury box.

استقبل رئيس الجمهورية ميشال سليمان الأمير الوليد بن طلال وذلك لمناسبة حفل إفتتاح فندق "فورسيزن" في وسط بيروت وقد منح فخامة الرئيس الأمير الوليد درع رئاسة الجمهورية تقديراً للدور الإنساني والاقتصادي الذي تقوم به مؤسساته في لبنان، واستبقاه والوفد المرافق الى مائدته - 22 حزيران 2010

On October 24, 2008 WAAAUB (The Worldwide Alumni Association of AUB) held a ceremony in which it honored eleven AUB alumni who served as ministers in the Lebanese Cabinet
The ministers, including Prime Minister Fouad Siniora, are: Telecom Minister Jibran Bassil, Minister of State Wael Bou Faour, Health Minister Mohammed Jawad Khalifeh, Information Minister Tarek Mitri, Economy and Trade Minister Mohammed Safadi, Culture Minister Tammam Salam, Foreign Minister Fawzi Salloukh, Minister of State for Administrative Development Ibrahim Shamseddine, Agriculture Minister Elias Skaff, and Finance Minister Mohammed Shatah. All the ministers received a special AUB medals produced by Absi Co. |

OPEC Third Summit of Sovereigns and Heads of State in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - 17 November 2007. Absi co produced the official OPEC medals distributed to Sovereigns and Heads of State and all their delegates.

President Michel Suleiman decorated Miss USA Rima Fakih in 2010 with the presidency medal for her Lebanese roots. Suleiman congratulated Fakih on her win and wished her luck. She also expressed pride in being of Lebanese origin.

The American University of Beirut hosted renowned Lebanese singer Magida El-Roumi on July 4 2009 at a special event in which El-Roumi announced her decision to donate the full proceeds from the sales of the first edition of her new album, Ghazal [Words of Romance], to the AUB Scholarship Fund which helps finance the education of needy students. President Dorman presented Magida with a commemorative plaque, inscribed with the AUB seal, for her generous contributions to student scholarships at the University over the years.
